My therapy journey started when I completed my Masters degree in School Counseling followed by a post-Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both at Johns Hopkins University.
After finishing my post-graduate education, I worked as a crisis counselor serving vulnerable populations in the mental health fields including major depressive disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia at a halfway home.
I then transitioned to performing psychological consultations in the Emergency Department at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health system.
My next step was exploring a more playful side to therapy by earning my Registered Play Therapist credentials while working at various private practices.
Since then, I have fully immersed myself into starting my own private practice to provide treatments to individuals, children and parents. With my expertise working with patients suffering from severe mental health disorders, I am able to bring that clinical experience into my private practice where I can address a wide range of patient needs in a playful and empathetic setting.
